Sometimes life can be so overwhelming with everything that’s going on around us. We fill our heads with so much noise, so many tasks, errands, deadlines, emails, and appointments that we forget just how important we are and start to think our life has no real meaning.
Sometimes by changing the way we think and the way we see things our life can change, all it takes is faith and a little self-belief to restore your world with direction and meaning again.

I have a purpose. –
It is said that the purpose of life is to live a life of purpose, and the thing most people struggle with is realizing what that purpose is. To have a purpose we must have a goal and if your goal in life is to help make the world a better place then I am happy to say you have found yours.
So, repeat after me; I matter, I am making a difference, I have a purpose.
I can, because I believe I can. –
They say believing is half the journey, that if you truly believe in something it will happen. Do you believe this? Do you believe in your dreams and in yourself? You can achieve anything you want when you put your mind to it and by that, I mean focusing all your energy on that dream of yours. Visualize it, write about it, sing it, paint it, feel it in your bones. Start believing that ANYTHING is possible because it is.

I will not compare myself to others. –
Comparing ourselves to others is one of the most self-destructing things a person can do. The key to overcoming this nuisance of a habit is acceptance. Once we accept that we are enough, we are beautiful no matter our size, shape, or colour we truly master the art of self-love and self-love is crucial when it comes to finding our true selves.
So, repeat after me; I am beautiful, I am one of a kind and I will learn to self-love, not self-destruct!
I am enough. –
I am enough, I am enough, I am enough, I am enough. Say it 10 times, say it 1000. Nobody in this world is better or more gifted than you. You are capable of remarkable things no matter how small or big, you are enough to brighten anyone’s day and leave a mark on this world.
So, repeat and repeat again; I am enough!
I am letting go. –
Don’t be afraid to cut off that dead weight and let go of things that are holding you back or dragging you down. You have to focus on yourself once in a while and only say yes to that which brings you joy and makes you feel alive. So drop the guilt, it’s okay to say no and let go!

It’s okay not to be okay sometimes. –
We put so much pressure on ourselves to constantly be ‘okay’ but sometimes it’s okay not to be. It’s okay not to have all the answers, there is no race. Take your time, figure out yourself, learn a new hobby, take that trip you’ve always wanted, be present, and be thankful for your struggles because without them you would not have found your strength. Sometimes courage is knowing what you’re worth even in the darkest of times, so know you’re worth it all and repeat after me;
I don’t need all the answers, everything is okay. I am okay and even when I am not it is okay!
I will not give up. –
Sometimes life knocks us down and we feel defeated, we see no point in continuing our journey but it is those who have faith in the darkest of times that comes out stronger. We must learn to never give up no matter how long the road ahead seems or how hopeless we feel.
So, repeat after me; No matter how lost or alone I feel, I will never give up on my dreams and more importantly, I will never give up on myself.

Everybody worries about the future or dwells on the past even when we tell ourselves not too. One of the easiest ways to start living in the moment is by taking 10 minutes out of your day to sit in complete silence and focus on the people and things around you that bring you joy and happiness daily. Do this every day and soon your fears about the future will start to evaporate and you will start to appreciate the present moment and the little things that surround you.

I don’t sweat the small stuff. –
Someone once told me “everything passes” It can take a while to realize that this is true. When in the presence of a negative emotion we tend to believe that things will never get better, yet in time, with a little faith and a change of thought, we soon realize that nothing is permanent and that includes our mood. It’s okay to be a little agitated or frustrated but ask yourself “Is this really worth my energy?” Take a breath and learn to let go of the little things that don’t really matter.

I am exactly where I am supposed to be. –
Maybe you believe everything happens for a reason or maybe you believe life is random, whatever it is, know that you haven’t come this far to just come this far. Don’t give up if something doesn’t come easy. You are exactly where you’re supposed to be, to learn and to grow so you can be stronger in times of adversity and face challenges head on. There is a timing at work whether we see it or not, so when it comes to anything in life, don’t force it and don’t fight it, just have a little faith.
